Short, because we collect very little.

What we hold

  • Business contact details for publications we approach — usually a name, a role, a work email and the publication's own submission guidelines.
  • Correspondence with you, so whoever picks up the thread can see what was already said.
  • Client business details and the placements we've made for them.

We don’t buy contact data and we don’t sell or share what we hold. There are no advertising trackers on this site, and we don’t use open or click tracking in the emails we send.

Why we hold it

To do the work: to pitch a story, write it, and keep a record of what was agreed. For publications, our basis is legitimate interest in business correspondence about editorial contributions — and that interest ends the moment you tell us you’re not interested.

How long

Correspondence for as long as the working relationship lasts, then two years. Suppression records are kept indefinitely, on purpose — it’s the only way to guarantee a removed address is never re-added by a later import.

Your rights

Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for it corrected, or ask for it deleted, and we’ll do it within 30 days. Use the contact form and we won’t ask you to justify the request.

Removal from our contact list is acted on the same day. Replying to any message we’ve sent is enough, and you don’t need to give a reason.

Cookies

This site sets none. No analytics, no advertising pixels, nothing that follows you afterwards.
